My 2015

It's the last fourth day of 2015! Just finished my 10-day Furla Pop Up Store work lol. Whole body is still feeling like jelly. Zzzz. But ok. Persevered for the pay. $_$

Anyway 2015 has been a good year!

1. Got my first iPhone.
Not really a crazy fan of Apple but I just opined that it works better than Android. I've used Android phones in the past and I prefer the simple navigation of Apple.

So for my late birthday present this year I got my baby i6. :)

2. Sat for my Degree final year exam.
Played very hard but didn't work that hard. Therefore as a consequence stress developed. But still didn't do anything about it. Only that I complained more than previous years and got all emo about it. Fei's probably annoyed and irritated with all my negativity and complaints but still stayed with me.

I only wished for a pass.

3. Went on my first road trip with Fei and Ivy!
Decided for Ipoh but then later spontaneously went up to Cameron Highlands lol!

4. Made non-bake cake for the first time!
No oven at home so I had to resort to non-bake cake for Fei's birthday. Turned out not bad even though it doesn't look like it hahaha. No one had stomach ache after eating it ok.

5. Then planned for another road trip.
Again with Fei and Ivy. But this time Ivy brought her friend Daisy too. :D Decided on Melaka!

Even though it was hot as fuck I think we had fun. Eating non stop fml. There went our diet.

6. First time travelling with Fei!
Though it's just within Malaysia and our destination was like only half an hour away from Penang on flight. Lolol.

And it was a very spontaneous decision after looking through Expedia and AirAsia Go.

7. Passed my Degree final exam.
Results this year was released on the 13th of August and we (Fei and I) on that day went for tea time at G Kelawai wtf. IKR still had the mood to go tea time. =_____=

Didn't check my results until after Ivy called. And that was when we were at Udini Square's Sports Direct.

My wish came true. It was more than what I wished for.

Thank you God for the blessings, thank you mum for praying so hard, thank you Fei for being there always, thank you Monkey for always supporting, thank you Ivy for going through all the years with me.

8. Got my first proper DSLR!!!
Mummy bought it for me for passing my Degree! 2nd baby of the year!

9. Decided to take up CLP.
RELUCTANTLY. I know, we should only decide on things we really want but sometimes in reality things don't work that way.

And now with CLP's syllabus half way done I'm still stuck at the first chapter. HAHAHAHA. No it's not funny.


10. Broke my record at working.
For standing 10 days straight FULL DAY. Never had I ever worked 10 full days during my 2 years of working at DP lolol. So that's a record breaker.


There you go, my 2015. Thank you for this good year.

Am ready for 2016!

Turning negative into positive thoughts

1. Recently (more like few months ago lol) I started finding out slowly, day by day, piece by piece of the clothes that I own, that I've...

GROWN FAT.

A LOT.

FML instantly fell into the strong suction of depression. I'll get agitated and pissed if the pants after I put on looks like it's snickering at me. And some long pants, I tried them on last week and I couldn't fit in a few...

*SCREAMS OF HORROR*

But after a while I thought to myself, getting fat means I'm currently living a quite-good life. No starvation, no working like a bull (yet). There's always food around to keep my stomach filled and full. So for that I'm thankful.


2. Phone after the latest update to iOS 9 became laggy.

Went to the Apple Community to complain and it seemed that a lot of people are facing the same problems. But until now Apple still hasn't rolled out a new update to fix these laggy problems yet. Which really irritates me.

However these lagginess are not really serious, and at least I have a functioning smart phone. Other people surviving on this earth on a daily/weekly basis probably don't even get a chance of owning a phone. :( So for that I'm again thankful.


3. I really want a Macbook.

Especially the new Macbook. The gold one. T_____T But it's fucking expensive with all the tax going up and currency going down. So I can only admire it everytime I pass by Switch, or by going to Apple's website lololol.

But actually I don't really need a laptop cos Fei bought me Mini last year and I also have this awesome PC already...

So Mini is for my daily use (all the time) and if there are some stuffs which cannot be done by Mini I'll just turn on my PC and get them done on my PC.

So what more can I ask for hor, I'm thankful.


4. Things I bought at full price are now marked downs.

It's all Year End Sale (YES) and End Season Sale (ESS) everywhere since the year is coming to an end.

IT'S DECEMBER ALREADY CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??! THE LAST TIME I BLOGGED IT WAS JUST THE MID OF NOVEMBER WTF?!??!?! WHERE HAS ALL THE TIME GONE TO????? T_____________T

Anyway earlier in October I got this pair of fucking gorgeous Charles and Keith sandals that I fell in love at first sight with and then last month during their sale I saw it's on sale already. =_____=

20%. =____=

Remained cool all the while before getting home. And once I reached home I erupted a bit. Ok never mind.

Then last week I went window shopping with mummy and we happened to enter Miss Selfridge. Guess what?

THE DRESS I BOUGHT FOR MY CONVO WENT ON A 50% MARK DOWN WTF IS THIS NONSENSE??!?!?!?!?!

I couldn't believe it ok!!!!! On the very first day of MS sale it wasn't on sale!!!!! I WAS SO BEWILDERED WTF??! AND SUDDENLY IT WENT DOWN TO 50%?!

My heart ached and hurt for mummy. T_____T

But then I spent some time thinking again, it's ok, because so coincidentally the size for the dress I took was UK12, and earlier when I asked, the staff said that when the stock came, there's ONLY ONE piece of UK12. Ok my size is exclusive lol I felt so much better then.

And as for the sandals, I think it's the last pair already cos I took size 10 wtf. Only ladies with giant feet can understand how I feel everytime I go shopping for shoes.

So yah, for that I'm thankful, thankful that I'm able to get things I like that are right for me. Some people spend hundreds of thousands and they still aren't able to get hold of the things that they want.


5. CLP just bashed me with tonnes of stress a few nights ago.

I'm wondering why the heck did I take up CLP like how I wondered to myself why the heck did I take up LLB.

CLP is like 4x LLB. WHY?

But I should be positive now. I shouldn't be stressing myself yet. It's only December. Like one of our lecturers said, "If you stress yourself now, you'll burnout by the time January is here."

So since it's December the month of Joy...

My taste in music is somewhat special lolol.

I don't really like songs with sunny/happy melodies. They sound really... can't find a word to describe it, but they're just unappetizing to me. I prefer songs with sad melodies. OR, if their melodies are not sad but with really good bass, then yes I'll love it!

My friends are always puzzled with my taste in music when I tell them I don't like happy/sunny songs. =_____= Everyone has different taste okay lol. Some would say I'm emo. Some would just roll their eyes at me. =_____=

Don't you feel that songs with sad melodies sound more sentimental and will be able to touch your soul deeper? (HAHAHA so eloquent wtf.) For example, Adele's Hello. Yes?

The Body Shop Tea Tree Squeaky-Clean Scrub Review!

Back with a review! This time on a scrub. Obviously lolol.

In a nutshell:
It's a Tea Tree line product, so it's probably more suitable for people with blemished skin (obviously, it's even printed on the tube itself lol) or oily skin (acne prone, tea tree is good). If you have dry skin, I'd recommend you not getting this cos I find that it's quite strong with tea tree's presence. (Tea tree controls acne/oily skin, so it'd be quite drying.)

I think my skin is now more like dry on the outside but oily on the inside fml. So everytime after using it my skin feels tight a lil. Therefore a no-no for dry skin people!

But it's very refreshing after a scrub with it cos it leaves on a cooling/tingling sensation as all tea tree products would, if you know what I mean. Also, tea tree smell is strongly present. So if you don't really like the smell then better not get it. I personally love tea tree's smell hahaha so not a problem for me.


Texture wise:
Gel-like texture with micro-beads in it. It's quite watery though, but not as watery as water lol.

Scrubbing on your skin with it:
Just like all other scrubs, the micro-beads help to scrub our skin to unclog our pores by removing whatever that's stuck in our pores.

For me, I use it to scrub on anywhere of my body hahaha. Face, arms, legs... It doesn't say it's only meant for the face anyway lol. So scrub on people!

But I only scrub my whole body like once in a long while. And it feels really good after a body scrub cos your skin will feel very smooth hahaha.

Came up with this post cos October was my happy month hahaha. *throws confettis*

So here are the things I got in October that made me happy!

1. Bobbi Brown

Corrector, Concealer Kit and Lip Color (mum's).

My dark circles are too serious.

Free miniatures for purchases above RM250 for Digi subscribers: CC Cream, Hydrating Eye Cream and Soothing Cleansing Oil.

2. Skin Doctors

For my serious dark circles of course. Still using my current one though, haven't finished using it. So haven't started with this yet. Mum also bought one for her under eye bags, Eyetuck. They're both on 20% discount at Watsons.

3. H&M

Superman crop top at ONLY RM30! Eventhough the tag shows RM49. :D

Foundation and concealer brush at only RM24.90. :D

Bought this for my BB concealer use lol.

4. Luxola

Did some research on these 2 brushes brands, Zoeva and Sigma. Bought 3 of them in the end from Luxola: Zoeva Concealer Buffer 142, Zoeva Luxe Soft Definer 227 and Sigma Powder/Blush F10.

I actually bought all these brushes for my BB concealer use because the lady told me it's better to use a brush to apply the concealers and she recommended me their BB ones which made mum and I shit bricks lol. Too expensive ok a hundred plus for a brush. I bought all 4 - H&M; Zoeva & Sigma - at a total of lesser than RM200. =_____=

Actually it's a toothbrush holder from Daiso hahaha. Bought this one cos it has that little partition on top. Plus you can remove it if you want. :D Convenient and useful.

So pretty righttttttt. Fell in love with this at first sight but refused to get it cos it's quite expensive. =_____= But in the end I decided to just get it, just in case I regret for not getting it later (which usually happens).

Banila.co Clean It Zero, Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum, Nature Republic Cream Concealer.

Quite inconvenient to shop on Althea though unless you have friends that wanna shop together cos their direct delivery from Korea is only free when you purchase >RM150. But their stuffs are really priced the cheapest compared to other sites! Being the aunty and stingy person that I am of course I went to survey their prices in other sites before deciding to get them from Althea lolol.

10. Hermo

B.liv masks, B.liv free mini samples, and Etude House Color My Brows Eyebrow Mascara.

Masks were on promotion so I got them for mummy. Then buy any 2 items get free delivery, again being the stingy me I went to search what can I get hahahaha. So I got the brow mascara in the lightest color so that my brows don't look like Shin Chan's. =_____=

Till today I'm still feeling happy for these stuffs that I got hahahaha. I shall enjoy using them! Hopefully they'll boost my confidence level lololol. #crap

I've been asking myself this question quite often lately: Where has all the time gone to?

No one has volunteered to answer though lol.

Anyway the haze is all cleared temporarily! :D Very happy that Iwe can finally enjoy clean air and blue skies and bright sun, all without the haze clouding! Indonesian government better solve this issue fast. This haze issue has been going on annually for a decade so I'm damn pissed when they say they need another decade to properly fix this fucking problem.

2. Change of class time last week.

I don't usually like last minute changes but I was ok with this cos I got Sunday off hahahahaha. It's been a very long time since I last had a whole Sunday to myself ok. At least 3 months.

Also Mr Joshua Kevin was our lecturer for the weekend so the lectures were fun! Stories and experiences he shared with us are funnyhilarious, sad, eye opening and at the same time made me appreciate life more. Thank you.

3. New TV!!!!

Mummy's room's old TV went bonkers, the screen display shrinked to a height of 5cm HAHAHAHA.

Here's the old Samsung TV. But it's served us for many many years!!! Maybe around 15 years. Maybe more, but definitely not lesser than that. Thank you TV!

Mummy and I went to survey before we bought the new TV above, and found that nowadays the smallest is 32" wtf. Mummy's room cannot fit so big leh cos we still had the old antique radio in the room.

Here's the antique radio. According to mummy it's about the same age as I so it's nearly 23 years old wtf. Nothing wrong with it except that the CD player doesn't eject when I pressed on it, the volume is getting lower and lower, and some buttons don't really work anymore lol. Oh and always producing noise in the background cos of the wiring problem I think. So mummy said to throw it out. :(

Thank you radio, bye bye radio.

We had enough space after throwing out the 2 antiques so mum said ok to the 32" TV. We got it from SenQ though, not Harvey Norman. Cos this Samsung TV was on promotion in SenQ. :B

4. Visited baby Hana again!!!

Aiyo this girl damn cute la. T_________T Why so cute one??? Even Fei adores her very much lolol. I can just spend the whole day sitting on the sofa with her sitting in my lap!! *hearts in eyes*

Another hazy update

Wah my post title damn cincai. Hahahaha. But I really can't think of any other titles to put cos this is gon really be just an update, and like a combination for all things I have to say.

FML IT'S OCTOBER.

I just realised that I mentioned in the last post that it's September already. Well... It's October already. Where the heck did all the time has gone to?

Anyway, October means Koala's birthday, and Sao Monkey's birthday. :) It also means Christmas is coming!! EMBRACE YOURSELVES PEOPLE!!!

Also, the haze is still fucking here, it just refuses to fucking leave. In the past week we've been blessed with clear skies, but all of a sudden a few days ago the fucking haze came back. And now as I'm typing this post the haze outside is thickening as time passes on wtf. Really very pissed. =_____=

Okay here goes.

1. I GOT A DSLR!

It's a fucking Sony, it's fucking sleek, it's fucking sexy & it's smokin' hot! T_____T So happy that I couldn't stop snapping. Actually there's really nothing for me to snap so I just basically snapped everything and anything. Lolol.

Have been neglecting my T900 too sorry T900 I still love you, gimme some time with your new bro first okay. :B

2. I GOT MY AIR MAX!

HI THERE I'VE BEEN LOOKING SO FORWARD TO SEEING YOU FOR THE PAST FEW MONTHS!

But I still haven't worn it out. Hahahaha. No reasons for me to wear them out yet. Weekends are fully occupied now so no weekend outings with mummy. :(

3. Watched The Intern.

Starring Anne Hathaway and Robert de Niro.

ANNE HATHAWAY WHY YOU SO PRETTY??? T______________T

The whole movie while watching the movie I was also admiring her outfits, damn classy damn chio!! It's like modern, casual and sleek with a classy twist. And she's so fair. T_T

This movie has quite a lot of messages to deliver, so you should watch if you're undecided as to whether you should watch it. But if you've decided not to, hey it's your call. :B

But at the end of the day, we should just follow our dreams and not sacrifice them up for a possibility.

4. Finally visited baby Hana for the first time!

Fei's been misleading me the whole time that her name's Hannah when her name's Hana. =_____=

She's so cute and soft and adorbs and lovely and pretty! T_____T Want my future baby to be like her. Look at her eyes and eyelashes!!!

And her cheeks!!!

Look at 'em delicious looking toes. ^ v ^"" Not to forget they're also super soft. I kept playing with her feet. T_T

Okay la okay la let you do whatever you wanna do, sit until like that also can lolol. Here she's focusing 100% on the Hokkien TV show. ._. so focused that she couldn't be bothered with me and my phone.

5. Watched Everest today.

Based on a true story. :(

WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD.

I think it's very sad, because 2 persons died because of 1 person. :( If you're physically unfit half way through the journey, please just turn back and stop insisting. I know it's difficult especially when you've completed 75% of the journey with just another 25% of it to go to reach the peak, but at least you completed 75%. :"(

Everest is definitely not a place for people to fool around.

6. Did e-Recovery on my old laptop.

This Acer laptop, it's been with me ever since my very old PC broke down in year 2010. This laptop accompanied me from Dec 2010 - July 2014.

Actually I started not using it that often after Fei got me Mini. This laptop is also the reason Fei got me Mini. You see, this laptop, it's all fine, I even played online game with it, leveling up and all, but one fine day the screen started to go malfunction. I was so depressed because I definitely could find no way to get a brand new laptop. :( This laptop costed me RM1699 and I bought it myself with my hard earned money. T_____T

So I think Fei actually cannot tahan with all my complaints everyday that he went to get me Mini with his hard earned money. Hahaha. Thank you Fei. :*

Mini was a present from Fei for my 2014 birthday. So ever since my birthday last year, I've been using Mini 98% of my time. Unless something is required to be accessed with a laptop or computer, I wouldn't touch this laptop cos it just malfunctioned to a point where I'd throw the damn laptop to the wall if I was cruel enough. T__________T

And in July 2014 I finally had a proper set of PC again. So obviously the more reason for this laptop to be neglected.

One fine day when mum and I were travelling along Penang Rd we saw this shop that says they'd like to take in second hand laptops or PCs, whether old, broken or new. So mum said to sell this laptop away and get a little cashback rather than keeping it in her room to collect dust. I actually agreed but never brought myself to actually settle this issue, because..

(1) It's really difficult to get this laptop to function properly with the screen keeps on blacking out. I have to turn on and force off it for a few times before the screen'd function properly. And Fei finally get to experience this today.

(2) It's been with me for so long. Mum and I watched TVB dramas with it, I played game with it, Chuan watched anime with it, we surfed the net with it. I did and submitted my compulsory assignment for degree year 1 with it as well. So it feels wrong to let it leave.

(3) It's functioning fine, it's still functioning smooth after we did the e-recovery on it just now. It's just the screen that's a problem. All the more reason to not let it leave. But purchasing it with RM1699 of course it'd be not worth it to spend RM800 to fix just its screen with no guarantee that this problem wouldn't be repeating. Heck, even if the screen on a phone like Samsung or Apple broke down, people'd probably just get a new one. (There are exceptional people though lol.)

So we finally did e-recovery on it. Default factory version. :( It's time to go, Acer. Thank you for accompanying us.

Hazy update

BELLO! We've now officially entered the third quarter of the year. IT'S SEPTEMBER. D:

Haven't been updating much. Most of the time I don't even know what I'm doing. Living like a wandering soul. Actually I should try to get an attachment with a law firm, I think. But... Lol.

Anyway, here's a brief update on what happened during the hiatus.

Yeema arrived on 25/8 and just went back on the 10th.

Us 2 days before yeema went back.

Haze is getting worse, API for Penang is at 120 as of today wtf. Wanna see how it looks like?

here's how it was earlier in the morning at around 10.15am when I woke up.

The photo made it look so much better than in reality. It's actually much worse than what you see in the photo, and now at 1pm it's even more worse.

It's been 2 weeks since we're first attacked by the fucking haze that flew all the way from Indonesia. Because I remember it starting a day before Yeema arrived. Experts are saying we'll have to live with this fucking haze until the next monsoon season is here. Fucking hell.

This fucking haze is also fucking with my skin and caused my face condition to be fucking terrible. I feel so bad going out and letting people see such horrible face fml. Definitely pulled down my esteem again fuck you haze.

Anyway I went to touch up my hair again last Friday because the purple (as seen in the first photo above) has faded 95% lol. I wanted navy blue but then Gino didn't have it in the shop. T_____T Asked me to try the blue wtf it looked so Cobalt-y that I prayed so hard in my heart hoping it doesn't turn cobalt on me. Fml.

BUT IT CAME OUT AS MERMAID HAIR AGAIN.

I know so chio right hahahaha.

*BIG SIGH OF RELIEF*

But it's since faded after 2 washes yesterday and the day before. It's gon continue fading for a week plus according to Gino. T_________T Goodbye mermaid hair. The green on my hair is so green now. =_________=
