Free today! So unlike my life. :D
Anyway, let me start crapping.
August was a very sad month cos Fei had to work in a mall that's like so far away from the one I'm working in. T_____T And then there was this small sadness that's caused by the fact that I had to walk home alone even when I was working afternoon shift. T_____T And then there's this even sadder fact than the previous one that I could only visit Fei once a week. T_____T And then even though I visited him like maybe 3 times, I got to only have dinner with Fei once. ONCE. In like 20 plus days. ONCE. Wtf. So yah. It was a sad sad month. :(
But then the EVENING before Fei started working he finally brought me to BitterSweet. Yah it was JUST the evening before. T_____T Then the next day he started working. No, actually he started working the same night. He had to set up the booths WTF wtf wtf seriously ah?
Anyway.
13th August, Wednesday
Initially we could spend the whole day together, or rather, we could spend a few more hours together. BUT this stupid boss of his just had to delay their "APP TRAINING" time which caused us to spend LESSER time together seriously ah this boss seriously. (Just don't ask me what's with this app training thingy.)
Okay I'll just stop complaining. -_____-
BitterSweet Cafe (No tax charges)
This was just for a light light meal. Obviously it would've been enough for me but not for Fei haiz.
Interior:
i just love their sofas! :D
Yah, all the interior pictures are just being photographed from where I was seated because 1, I'm not a professional blogger, what more food blogger lol; 2, because of that, I'm too paise to walk around taking pictures of every photography-possible object.
By the way, customers are required to make their orders at the cashier counter & also make payment there before food/drink is served.
On the table:
Just too fascinated with the flowers lololol. They make good photography objects. Can't deny that, can you?
Cappucino (hot) @ RM9.90.
Maple Pancake with Ice Cream @ RM11.90.
Obviously this is mine. Lol. Fei couldn't have ordered this. Nope. Not now, not then, not ever.
Egg Benedict @ RM14.90.
Fei's, because he hasn't tried it before. I like their Hollandaise sauce! So naisss.
Okay la, their stuffs are quite good. I didn't try their main course though. Lol. But for what we ordered, they're quite good. And the price is not crazily overpriced. Standard pricing I guess. Lol.
So after this we went to walk around, Gurney I think, can't really remember what the heck happened a month plus ago. I think my memory is getting worse zz.
But I can tell you we weren't that crazy to head straight up to our dinner place for dinner lol.
Okay dinner place.
The Hillside Cafe (10% tax charges)
First thing that I noticed after I sat down was that there's this super lengzai working in there lo! Fei said that the super lengzai's probably the son of the owner. Family business. *swoons* Ya I swooned in front of Fei lololol he just ignores me anyway everytime when I do that. =_____=
Sorry ah, my style a bit cacat one I never take pictures of the outside of the cafes that I visit one lol.
Interior:
i like this board lor.
Hot Chocolate @ RM9.
FML it wasn't a tit bit good, it tasted like kid's chocolate milk FML I didn't even want to drink it after the first sip. Fei finished it off like a kid cos his favourite milk was Sustagen FML.
Mozzarella Sticks @ RM14.
Okay, this one is not bad. But then it's not hot lo when served. No idea why.
Cafe Burger (Pork, add Bacon) @ RM20. Burger itself should be around RM16 or RM18.
No comment, it just seemed so yucky to me. Fei seemed to love it though.
Fish Burger @ RM16.
Mine looks so much appetizing isn't it. :D
No idea why some photos turned out blur ah. Lol. Probably cos of the lighting. Give me good lighting and I give you perfect photos. ;)
Fei dropped me home after our dinner.
And then there was this long long time no see each other thingy. T_____T
Until...
8th September, Monday
Fei brought me to Basil finally!! :D :D :D
Basil, le Bistrot / Basil The Restaurant (10% tax charges)
The place damn chio okay. No actually it's just the floor tiles... *cough*
Honey Lemon (hot) @ RM7; Tiramisu @ RM12.
No idea why but I felt as it the Honey Lemon tasted weird weird one lor. The Tiramisu was not bad though with a lot of liquor on the base of the container HOHOHO Fei didn't like it. Fei never liked anything with liquor. =_____=
English Breakfast @ RM18
Fei's obviously. I rarely order English Breakfast OR BIG Breakfast, most of the time it's Fei that orders these. =_____= Come to think of it, I think I've NEVER ordered BIG breakfast. Have I?
Egg Florentine@ RM15.
Okay la..... the description on the menu attracted my attention cause I saw 'Hollandaise sauce'...
our lunch. :D
Basil's serving is more like fine dining I guess. And I don't enjoy fine dining. I just don't know how to appreciate fine dining lol never been to one, and probably not going to go to one.
here's the picture of the pretty tiles with my pretty feet! :D
Also headed to Caffe Bene after that cause it's newly opened still hehe. :D
Green Tea Bingsu (S) @ RM12.90. :D
MORE THAN ENOUGH for 2 persons FML stupid Fei didn't want to eat it and I had to finish it alone so obviously I couldn't finish it. -_____-
I love the pretty tiles & Bingsu pictures lor so pretty FML see I told you give me good lighting & I give you perfect photos! *smug*
13th September, Saturday
The Annual Tua Pek Kong Celebration, Georgetown
Actually I have no idea if it's on Saturday or Sunday, or what's the event actually called. It just has something to do with Tua Pek Kong's Birthday I think. Fei forced me to go to Georgetown with him. Just to walk around. =_____=
the little streets of penang. :3 damn photobomb guy zz.
We went into the Tua Pek Kong Temple & went upstairs the temple as well, just because Fei wants to go up. =,= The staircase was so dark, there wasn't even a small lightbulb anywhere. But Kek Lok Si Pagoda's staircase is still the most epic one. Lol.
22nd September, Monday
Finally visited The Light Bulb Cafe. After it's opened for so many months. And it's just next to the building that houses the college that I attend lol wtf.
The Light Bulb Cafe (No tax charges)
Again I apologize for not getting a picture of the outside of the cafe hahahahaha. It's not like people are gon stumble upon my blog when googling for these cafes lol. Other popular blogs would be on the top 10 of the search results already lol so never mind mine. ;3
And like Bitter Sweet, customers are to place their orders at the cashier counter and pay before you eat.
sorry i took this picture from the inside LOL.
every table has a light bulb lol.
Tiramisu Latte (hot) @ RM11.
I find it just normal, hot latte with Tiramisu powder on top. =,=
Mushroom Soup @ RM7.
NOPE. Never ordering this again. Nope. Too watery and it just doesn't taste like Mushroom Soup except for the fact that it has mushrooms inside. Bits of mushrooms, really.
Egg Benedict @ RM17.
Not really good as I can't really taste the Hollandaise sauce. :(
Mix Grilled Jumbo Sausage @ RM17.
This should be better, but I don't think it's worth the price. Does it? D:
24th September, Wednesday
Paid another visit to the same cafe as the previous one lol. To celebrate Nana's 21st Birthday in advance. :3
I had Spicy Aglio Olio and find it really nice.
Aglio Olio (Spicy) (there's also a non spicy version available) @ RM13.
Top: Grilled Norwegian Salmon @ RM25; Right: Lamb @ RM35.
I guess the other 2 that Ivy and Nana ordered should be not bad, since they said it's not bad. Lol. But I really like their Aglio Olio. :D
Again, give me good lighting and I give you perfect pictures!! HEHEHE.
So yah, that's about it. Lol. I hope I'll come back here more often, but it depends... But the probabilities of finding me on social apps should be higher still. Lol.
Goodbye!
