Still Alive

Greetings!

Wah I haven’t been back for so long. I didn’t realise I’ve left my blog unattended for so many years. I mean… I am aware that I haven’t logged in to my blog for the longest of time… but it just didn’t dawn on me that it’s been 4 years. My last post was in 2019. Before 2020. Whut?

So many things have changed since.

Covid-19 – initially called the Coronavirus – happened. Movement Control Order (MCO), Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO), Full Movement Control Order (FMCO) etc happened to curb the Covid-19 spread. All forms of travels were banned in the beginning.
Life happened.
Started doing HIIT exercises during the first round of MCO and maintained this till now, though less frequently as I got lazier... 🫠
I am now a “fiancΓ©e” – the proposal happened. To the same man who was my boyfriend though. This one thing did not change. πŸ˜‚
I started practising Intermittent Fasting (IF) whenever I can, though never strictly.
I caught Covid-19 nearly 2 years after its first outbreak. :(
I started hiking again after years of hiatus.
I turned 30.
I left practice.
I moved down to KL.
Mummy turned 60.
Wen got married.

Anyway, we’ve just entered this new year not too long – CNY just flew by followed by V Day, and March is creeping around the corner. Next thing you know, Raya is here lol.

I’ll see if I can manage to rekindle my love for blogging in the near future… I’ll try to do it. Just to recap the events of my life (what events? πŸ˜‚) for memories’ sake so that the aged me can come back to this blog to have a read in the future and be reminded of how dull and mundane my life was back in the days.

Till then.

February'19

February started with Han's long call on the first day. So Wen and I bought her a bouquet of flowers. I luuuuuvveee the colour tone 😍

And then it was CNY! CNY eve was just 3 days away haha.

Lion dance performance at Paragon! I don't know how these people do it... swinging and jumping on stilts like that.

Had our reunion steamboat dinner a day earlier on Sunday.

Had loh bak for lunch on Sunday after returning from SP court fml.

And as usual, on CNY eve I did a little deco and helped mummy with sticking the CNY stickers on the mandarin oranges. This year we used the CNY GXFC tape from Mr DIY hahaha instead of the traditional paper stickers cos mummy kept complaining the paper stickers kept coming off cos it couldn't adhere well on the fruit skins.

Chor Yat dinner

Chor Yi breakfast

Went up to Fei's place on Chor Yi... dropped by Sushi King for lunch before heading up. Everywhere is full with humans wth. What's happening to tradition?

Kept disturbing Fei with selfies hahahaha.

After that I tagged along Fei for dinner with his grandma... and Fei wanted to buy bubble milk tea from Venzytea... but bubbles OOS (?) lol so he bought Meme Xpress... and... HAHAHAHAHAHA

This is the small hahahahahahaha.

On Chor Sam we visited Aunty Seat Cheng & her mother... and had lunch at her place.

Bro and Aunty Seat Cheng didn't get the memo... πŸ˜‚

And on Chor Sei..

Girls' date with Sao Monkey! Our mission on that day was...

To find out how CD740 really looks like. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ So we went to Sephora first... then CD. IMO retail assistants working in luxurious brand stores eg Chanel, CD are usually very arrogant and rude lol. They overrated themselves. Like, I'm not trying to bash them, but you're only working there, not the owner of the store? Lol.

After that I went to meet up with another friend which I haven't seen in many many years lol. Last I sat down and had a chat with her was probably 2012 lol. Met up at Blooms... it was fucking crazy the crowd. Coupled with the children and all omg. The staffs were very piteous lah they had to keep picking up the stupid balls lol... But I think the items are very overpriced and overrated... though they're undeniably very pretty.

Then on Chor 5 it was Miao Hui & Hot Air Balloon Festival... Fei was all ambitious... and said we should go to all 3 places: Miao Hui, Hot Air Balloon & Kek Lok Si. =_=

And we did. 🀦‍♀️

Though by the time we arrived at Padang Polo, the balloons were being kept one by one already lol.

I later on fell in love with this blur-faced kitten... 😭 how can he be so cute???

Look at this face 😒

Brought mummy up to KLS on Chor 9... where we spent 1.5 hours hanging around the Pavilion doing nothing waiting for the lights to be on. zzz.

And I fell in love with another super sad kitten. :(

Look at that grey one! How can she look so sad...

Then it was V day. Had our simple dinner at Thai Shop. I knew Fei was gon go there. =_= And I was bitten so many times but the damn mosquito zzz. But Fei bought me...

Guess whassit?

Sigh me man went to get me the CD740 too. Let's all please take a moment to admire the beauty of that hologram.

I've never been a Dior girl, but thank you me man! Hehehe my first CD. 😁😚

On the following Saturday, it was karaoke session with our Dr Tan and Teacher Ms Lee. Oh god.

πŸ’›

And that's the end of my CNY. Hahahaha.

Met up with Han last Saturday because she was gon leave on Monday back to KL...

She insisted to come into the photo... didn't want to move away even when I asked her to. πŸ˜‚

And then it was Wen's 27th birthday girls' night out! There was drama at Tiente but I didn't wanna make a big fuss because I didn't want Wen upset... I was very upset though. Still am actually when I think of it.

She was going gaga over unicorns the past few months so I DIY a unicorn birthday card for her hahahaha.

Dinner was Pinxin Vegan!

And a selfie before we leave...

1.3.2019

Happy 27th Wen! We've been through so many birthdays since 14 that we're turning 30 in 3 years' time what the freaking hell... But Happy happy birthday! May you be blessed with all the happiness in the world and always be happy-go-lucky... though the latter is probably an impossibility since you're now a teacher HAHAHAHA. πŸ’›

And... IT'S MARCH!!! Omg. I was telling Fei and Wen that before we even know it... CNY will be coming again. Lolol.

Till then peeps...

Signing off...

Happy New Year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR HUMANS! πŸŽŠπŸŽ‰

It's 2019. I haven't digested completely the fact that it's 2019 already...

It's been a month since my last post; 4 days since my birthday. Oh yeah I turned 27 4 days ago. This is unbelievable... I remember not too long ago I posted a photo of myself & captioned it "a quarter of a century"? It wasn't too long ago only wad. Scary.

Anyway... I shall photolog my December here.

A day after we're back from KL, mummy called Aunty Seat Cheng and found out that she's on leave. So we took her out and she treated lunch haha. This Dan-Dan Ramen is my eternal love in Dragon-i. Also visited Forever 21 and saw these unicorn plushies. So cute so I took a photo of them hahaha.

Then it was girls' date with Wen a few days later. πŸ’›

Also visited the SQCC Popular Fair... and saw these cute little grumpy bunnies!!! I'd look like them if I were a rabbit lolol.

Window-shopped with mummy and saw this SK having promotion for 999 gold rings. Went to kepo and ended up with a new ring. Thank you mummy! πŸ’›πŸ’›

Later, I succumbed to the 12.12 MAC sales on Lazada... 😭 Cos free full size blusher with any purchase + free lip stain for purchases made from 0000-0200! Finally bought the color I wanted since half a year ago. The free lip stain is about to expire lol... it's worth RM101 and the blusher is worth RM93. So not too bad la I guess. Even if I don't use the lip stain, I still have the lipstick and the blusher. 😍

Then I again succumbed to Lancaster's Christmas half price sale fml. Wanted a bag like this for quite a while already... saw similar ones in Kate Spade & Coach when we were at Design Village. But then final sale price is still RM800+ wtf. No thanks.

On the day before the day before Christmas (SUNDAY), I had to get up at 6.15am because my man registered us for a morning run wtf. Walked 6km, and gained the calories back after 2 hours.

On Christmas eve, we had UNICORNETTO!!! 😍😍😍😊

And on New Year's Eve, as usual we went to crowd with people and wasted 1 hour+ of our lives to wait for the fireworks...

On New Year's Day Dr Tan surprised us with her return from the UK!
