Being thankful post-resignation

2 years ago today was the first day I stepped into Dorothy Perkins (not as a customer lol) as a newly recruited staff.

Time flies it's already been 2 years since that day haha and I'm obviously no longer working there.

Well thank you for hiring me, for giving me a chance to experience real experience (DP being one of the high street brands of UK) of being a part time coordinator. I had seen different types of customers/people while working there, handling them and socializing with them. There were the good ones and the bad ones. Trained my patience while dealing with them too lol.

Actually I think I learned quite many things while working there. Among all:

• increased socializing skills (though I'll only use it when necessary me being the anti-social me);
• able to recognise clothing materials better than any person now working there (except for the supervisor/manager of course);
• UK companies' marketing/products allocation methods;
• what do the people in the higher level do most of the time (note to self: MUSN'T be like that myself if I ever get into the higher level of offices);
• how to come out with points for reports (weekly and monthly lol)

So far, I can only think of these cos they're the more important ones I think, those that I could relate to while working. So yeah.

Visiting the shops nowadays as a customer/ex-staff is quite fun. Cos I now know the people working there and I'm able to ask for things easier without them giving me the weird face hahaha. And also because I understand well how they work too. :D

Yup, definitely a good thing that I brought up all my courage to ask for a job 2 years ago. Hahahaha.

2013.1.4 ● 21st Birthday

Hello, I'm here writing what happened yesterday, while The Little Mermaid 2 is playing on the tv. :D I'm a happy girl! Spent my 21st birthday well with my loved ones, laughing chatting taking photos. Fei and Wei Shern pak tor as usual. Lol the two guys. Anyway yesterday was 2013.1.4, which means 爱你一生一世. Please don't ask me how do I know what does the number stand for, because that's what I know since primary lol.

finally 21!

OOTD! :)

Mum cooked me mi sua with an egg with crab sticks and fishballs! I forgot to take a picture of it... :( And I went to Dr Teong's with mum before going out orz... :( Not going to tell why, it's so damn embarrassing!! And I got medicine. URGH!! But they're really colourful medicine hahahahaha.

Then only I went out with Fei, went to Gurney and headed to Nando's because the very awesome Mr. Low didn't eat anything. And I thought I could claim my birthday dessert and hot drink, but URGH I have to say this Nando's card system SUCKS SHIT!! Zzzz. Fei tried something new anyway. Chicken breast but they called it butterfly lol I don't know why hahaha. After that Fei ordered another wedges, and I got to dip my Peri-Peri sauces again!! Double happy girl!!

After finishing everything I went to claim my birthday voucher and freebies! 20% voucher from F3, free Boost and free extra 50% phone credit! Haven't claimed my Sbux free cake yet though, cos our dinner (food deal) at Who's Bryan provides desserts! So after getting my stuffs we brought the Boost back for mum, and Fei said we should go to 1st Avenue because we haven't been there for a long time already. == Got meh? Lol. Walked and walked and walked around, then at 7pm only we went off to Who's Bryan cos Fei didn't want to be there early. ==

Surprise surprise! Didn't know Han and Liggy were going to be there, lol was busy looking for Wen and Wei Shern but saw Han and Liggy through the glass door instead hahahahaha it's not my fault. T^T And then the cake surprise also failed hahahahaha that's funny! It's not sad it's so funny I can't stop laughing about it every time I think about it hahahaha.

Then the cake came, and Han got pek chek with me cos I was taking forever to blow and cut the cake hahahahahahahaha. (Y) *clapclap* But I managed to blow off the candle and cut the cake, and I blew the candle off at the time its flame sparked smallest, Fei was complaining it didn't look like I blew it off. ==

Resolution '13?

Hello. I'm now in college, sitting crossed leg in the 18th floor foyer and listening to the song Uncle is listening to on the radio as I typed this post on my awesome Galaxy Note phablet. I'm too bored, having nothing to do and not wanting to study or flip through my subject modules at all. So I was thinking of updating my blog with my New Year Resolution (NYR). Awesome right? :D

Um, on the night of 1st January I did look back at my 2012 resolution, and I found out I accomplished only like 4 out of 10 heh...... There's one that I really want to do it, but I'm lack of wealth resources... /_\ I wanna get mum cupcakes for her 50th birthday, which was last year, but I didn't have the money to. :'( So I'm hoping this year I can do it for her...

Oh yeah, anyway, lol, here's my resolution for this new year, I'm thinking as I write:
1. Get mum her cupcakes for her birthday.
2. Do my best in May's exam. (that's the best I can promise myself n everyone else who cares, cos I'm really very lazy right nao.)
3. Start working in June till August, earn money and save money! I'm seriously broke...
4. Putting much more effort into perfecting my handwriting. (HAHAHA ok this is not a valid reso.)
5. Have a happy relationship, we're hitting the 6th year. :0 (but this only works if Fei doesn't kek me.)
6. Back to blogging properly, like a few years ago, even if it's a once-in-a-while update.

And I can't think of any other resolution already. Lol. Actually I dunno what do I want to do, so really, the only good and sound resolution to me is no. 1. No. 3 is important in helping me to achieve my no. 1 resolution, but without no. 1 resolution I wouldn't have any motivation to get no. 3 done hahahahaha. Ok they're all just interrelated. ==

Right now I can only think of my wishes, but they'll only take effect for birthday wishes, which is after tomorrow so yeah. BD

P/s: Can't believe I'm turning 21 in less than a day, like, 10 hours and 40 minutes as I'm typing this? Waaaaaaaaahhhhh! :O

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

HI YO! It's 2013 already! :O Going back to college tomorrow, not the slightest bit excited at all. Sigh whatever... I shall start crapping and typing down my 2012 NYE memories! :)

YESTERDAY:
Went out with mum and Chuan in the morning, cuz mum bought Chuan his new uniform pants but forgot to get him his new uniform shirt. =,= Then we went to Gurney to have our lunch at Chopper Board and after that walked around and had dessert in Meet Fresh.

their strawberry and yam ice cream's really good! i wonder what brand of ice cream are they using...

And by the time we left Gurney, it wuz only around 2pm and heck it wuz already jammed like hellz.

Anyway, went out together (the usual 4 of us lol Fei, Wen & Wei Shern) in the night for dinner and went to Straits Quay to count down after that. Ingolf's Kneipe wuz where we had our dinner, weeeee! I miss miss misssss their Grilled Dory Fillet with Mushroom sauce so muchhhh and finally I got to taste it in my mouth once more! Hee! And since Allan Choo and Soong Liang are working there, ==, Fei bullied Soong Liang again, and he and Allan Choo kept laughing at Soong Liang. Buddies konnonnya...

Went down to Straits Quay after finishing our dinner, and heck it wuz jamming like hell tho it wuz only 9 something... Straits Quay's carpark entrance was already blocked, I think the carpark inside's full already. Lol. And then Fei parked his car in Tesco yay hahahaha. WS parked Wen's car in Tesco too, we even used Tesco's toilet first before heading to Straits Quay hahahaha. Ok I know we're bad. LOL. Every restaurant/snack shop is full with HUMANS and we could only walk around. T^T Fei suggested we should go stand by the sea outside of Delicious, and we went, and there were a few projector screens being placed around so that we could see what's happening on the stage, and lol there was a Fun Game session where people went up to the stage to dance Gangnam Style. There was this guy who made Wen laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed non stop and in the end he got the main prize I think. Lol. == Time passed so fast last night I dunno why, maybe cuz we were talking non stop lol. And suddenly it wuz already 11.30pm, and suddenly it wuz already 11.45pm, and then it wuz 11.59pm.

Oh and this 2 pictures below, are fireworks blasting off on the sea surface! Straits Quay's idea's good, but too bad some people including me were confused thinking maybe some of the fireworks fell into the sea and blasted there lol. But luckily I was recording the show and managed to catch about 4 seconds of that happening. == That's why the photos' quality's out a little. Baabaa.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!! I'm glad I stepped into 2013 accompanied by my loves with loud bangs and shower of lights in the night sky. :) 2013 will be a good year, I hope! May this new year bring us health, peace and harmony! And more.... :D I love you Fei and Wen! :*

Oh, and shit, I need to start telling people I'm 21 already if people happened to ask, urgh. 1992 kids stepping into 2013 = stepping into the era of 21 YO! Happy 21 1992 ginas! Lol.
