I'm supposed to be doing my work now lol, researching for cases. But I feel so lazy right now. Just done changing my Twitter's email settings. So annoying to see so many spams from Twitter. Cos I'm too lazy to clear them all out.

Last few months I changed my FB's email settings I think. So no more FB spams! Hahahaha. Life is so much more peaceful without FB notification emails. I don't have to clear a tons of mail anymore.

It's the 19th! 12 days to go before March ends and I get my paycheck! Can't wait to get my paycheck already cos I needa start putting back monies into my savings which I've been spending from in the past 2 years. :(

So far I'm loving my job and office! Hahaha. I hope I'll get to learn more things soon. Office feels very homey so I feel very comfy sitting on my chair at my place even when I'm all alone. I love how my wireless keyboard and mouse feel too. Keyboard's keys are super soft and mouse moves smoothly!

And I'm attending CLP's convo! It's not cheap but it's my last convocation! Long call is something different.. When Long Call is here, it means I'm officially joining the legal profession already.. hopefully. So even though there are no PHs in March and April, I get to look forward to something hahaha although I'll have to replace the 3 days leave. :D It's ok, it's only 3 days anyway.

Oh yes, I'm super super pissed with Windows 10 too. This is random but Windows 10 really really SUCK. BIG TIME. It's always updating and it doesn't leave us with any other choices besides "update & shut down" or "update & restart". And it's always taking such a long time when it's updating. Last week it wasted 1 hour of my time in the office updating itself. If Windows isn't coming out with anything better than this, the next laptop I'm getting will no longer be a Windows laptop. Try us Windows. Try us.

Ok I need to start my research work again. I only have 2 more days to complete the work. God please bless me! *prays*

Thankful

On the 3rd day of CNY in January I went up to Kek Lok Si with Fei. When we were at the foot of the Pagoda I went to take a knock at the ginormous wishing bell. I prayed hard and wished that I would hear from the firm that I asked for a chambering position since early January and get it.

I was rejected on the 5th day of CNY. I was down and I was sad.

On the 10th day of CNY in February I brought mummy and bro up to Kek Lok Si. Mummy asked both of us to knock the bell and I said I've already knocked it on the 3rd day and it didn't help me to get what I wished for. :( Bro went to knock and told me to be patient cos "things like that take time, good things don't come quick". =_=

For the rest of the days I kept sending resumes to different firms and went on Jobstreet to see if there are any firms at all which posted a job posting for chambies. I initially didn't want to just simply send my resumes to all the firms cos I didn't want to land myself in somewhere I might not like and get stuck for 9 months. Yes, sure, you can apply for a change of master, but what if your master isn't happy about it and starts being an ass? But desperate times call for desperate measures lol so I just sent to every firms that I came across.

None of the firms that I sent my resume to replied. A few replied but the replies were to inform me that they're not hiring. Yes, thank you for letting me know, I appreciate it. Those that don't even bother to reply - where's your basic manners?

Finally I got a call. And another interview invitation. Beyond happy.

To cut long story short, I'm now no longer jobless! I started work on the first of March and so far I'm quite happy! I guess good things really don't come quick.

Thank you wishing bell for making my wish of getting a position in a good place come true.

My boss brought me to Penang Club for lunch yesterday and I was really happy! Not cos she brought me to Penang Club la lol but because she brought me out for lunch and talked to me. Tho it's for work. :D I think it's a good start? Hehe. The photo above was taken when we were there. She was on the phone and I took this photo. :D

And Fei waited for me to finish my work for 1.5 hours+ before he brought me to Constant Gardener to chill. :D Thank you my fat man for always being so patient with me. I don't know how he does it. Hahaha.

Good things don't come quick and patience is always a virtue.

Thankful that I'm so blessed, thankful that people around me can stand my very crazy temperament, thankful that mummy and Fei are always supporting me in whatever I wanna do.

Hatyai trip photolog!

HELLO!

Actually I have a lot to say hahaha but I don't know where to start lol. And I don't know if I'm able to put them into words. I'll try but that's in another post cos this post is reserved for our Hatyai short trip last weekend!

Fei went to get the van tickets to Hatyai 2 weeks ago after I spontaneously agreed to go with him cos he's been nagging since forever that he wanna go Hatyai. What's new zz.

So off we went last Saturday super early in the morning. Van arrived at 5am+ and we reached Hatyai at around 10am+ I think. Also Fei kept scaring me saying that the queue at the immigration is super scary etc but we only queued for like 15 minutes before it's our turn? Lol not that I'm not grateful, I'm really thankful we didn't have to waste time there hahaha. Checked in to our hotel at 11am and after we got ready we left and went to have brunch at Chok Dee Dimsum!

There was a tuk tuk in front of our hotel's entrance (later on only did I realise he's our hotel's tuk tuk lol) so we asked for the price to go to Chok Dee. When we reached Chok Dee he asked us whether we wanna take his tuk tuk to the Municipal Park as well. In the end we agreed at 600 baht so he waited for us lol. So we went up to the Municipal Park after we finished our brunch and the view up there was goooooooorgeous! It was super hot but the view was really pretty! Feast for our eyes. We wanted to then go to the Khlong Hae Floating Market after that but it was still super early lolol so we asked him to drop us at Lee Gardens so that we can spend some time there lol and then we walked back to our hotel after that. Interesting story of the day was WE GOT LOST on the way back to our hotel zzzz but we still managed to get back to our hotel after maybe 1.5km of 冤枉路. Floating Market was just so-so, nothing much interesting except for the fact that it's a floating market lol.

Then on Sunday we were super carefree cos we only have 2 night markets and a mall to visit. And a lot of time to spare lol. And Fei forgot we haven't visited Robinsons zzz he only remembered after we reached Penang and after we are at our HOMES. SIGH. What's new? Actually we also visited Gimyong Market in the morning lol but it was.. just really a wet market? So we left hahaha.

And time to leave on Monday! Immigration was EMPTY. LOL. There were only us hahaha and no others. Thank goodness no delays!

Happy I got to spend time with Fei before I started working but it's really expensive to travel around in tuk tuks in Hatyai. I think 60% of our spendings are on tuk tuks. Damn expensive I tell you.

Chok Dee Dimsum brunch! 320B for this meal including 2 bottles of Chrysanthemum. I think it's quite reasonable.
